Camino Norte Part I - April '24
7/5/2024

For 3 weeks we walked the first half of the Camino Norte from the town of Irun across the Bay of Biscay to the town of Villaviciosa (where we then headed southwest to catch the Camino Primativo (technically the original Camino). The coast was everything as advertised - spectacular, rugged, remote, awe inspiring and just plain EPIC. We'd walk ~25km's a day over 5-7 hours, carrying small backpacks (under 20 pounds) and letting our feet lead. After only a few days, we'd become addicted and began planning for a 2025 return to walk all over Spain.
